Job Description

Summary of Role:

 

The Executive Director of Population Health Analytics provides leadership to plan, organize and enhance performance across all Cluster facilities in Primary, Secondary and Specialist Care.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

 

Education:

-MD or Ph.D. or equivalent in epidemiology or related health science field, business intelligence, Management Information Systems field or other related field

-Masters in epidemiology or related health science field, business intelligence, Management Information Systems field or other related field

-Bachelors in epidemiology or related health science field, business intelligence, Management Information Systems field, or other related field

Experience:

-Eight (8) years post qualification experience and four (4) year in a management role with a PhD or MD

- Ten (10) years post qualification experience and six (6) year in a management role with a masters

-Twelve (12) years post qualification experience and eight (8) year in a management role with a Bachelor

Competencies:

 

Analytical and Judgment:

-Ability to critically use operational, performance and outcome data to draw conclusions and develop action plans.

Planning and Organizing:

-Ability to develop strategic and operational plans in alignment with LTSP.

-Ability to build and lead multidisciplinary teams.

-Ability to develop networks, build and maintain relationships with other services/ organizations.

-Ability to manage resources.

-Ability to manage performance and mentor staff.

Policy and Service Development: 

-Ability to identify and prioritize the need for policies and practice guidelines.

-Ability to develop and critically review policies and practice guidelines.

-Ability to use quality improvement methodologies.

Research and Development:

-Ability to critically appraise literature and apply research outcomes to clinical practice and service development

Skills

-Led a facility to enhance medical services e.g. writing scope of services, job descriptions, credentialing, performance evaluation criteria and writing policies

-Developed and executed a clinical strategy with a track record of developing successful clinical strategies through effective stakeholder engagement.

-Managed clinical initiatives which involved coordinating across different professional groups and health systems

-Demonstrable track record of achievement in the areas of quality, patient safety and patient experience.

-Proven skills in providing in management, including the ability to motivate, set standards and demand accountability.

-Able to work cooperatively and strategically in a multicultural team environment with all levels of healthcare professionals, technical and administrative staff.

-Capacity to interface and maintain effective relationships with all departments and employees.

-Proven background of positive experiences engaging with senior executives, and various internal and external stakeholders in a healthcare setting.

-Highly responsive, ethical and responsible behavior with a professional approach and willingness to be held accountable for results.
